The 2012 Clubs WA Awards for Excellence marks the 6th anniversary of this annual gala event.
The Clubs WA Awards for Excellence program recognises the value of clubs, their commitment and dedication to local communities and, the never ending efforts of their many employees and volunteers.
Expressions of Interests are now open for the 2012 Awards for Excellence!
The nomination process has been made simpler, for your benefit! After all, these awards are for the Club Industry to recognise the hard work and efforts YOUR staff and management team!

Why You Should Nominate!
Does your club excel in a certain field?
Do you have an employee or volunteer that consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty?
What better way to thank them for all their hard work and recognise their achievements than with a nomination! We encourage you to fill out an expression of interest form for your club for the 2012 Awards for Excellence and nominate today!
Where to Start
1. Involve your club’s management and staff
2. Focus on what you do really well
3. Decide on the categories you wish to enter
4. Decide on who will be responsible for gathering the required information for your entry
5. Fill out the Expression of Interest Form and send it to Clubs WA by Monday, January 23rd 2012.
You may choose to complete your nomination by yourself and should you decide to do so you will not be disadvantaged in anyway.

People’s Choice Award
The 2012 Awards for Excellence introduces the People’s Choice Award! This award gives club members the opportunity to nominate their club as the best club in Western Australia!
The online voting portal (through www.clubswa.com.au) will be open at 10am Thursday, 19th January 2012 and will close at 11.59pm on Monday, 5th March 2012.
Voting for this award is open to both members of the club and members of the club’s community and will require them to illustrate why they believe their club should win this award. Examples could include how the club tailors itself for its members, something specific done for one particular member, or specific fundraising achievements that were in the interest of the club’s members etc. The voter must not reference examples from the club’s community involvement (as this is to be considered for the Outstanding Community Service Award).
All entrants will go into the draw, with the most creative entry winning a prize. To ensure a fair result, the winning club will be determined by the percentage of entries the club receives in relation to the number of members it has. Each voter is only able to vote once.
Deadlines
1. Complete the Expression of Interest Form, indicating the awards of your choice and then return to Clubs WA.
Deadline : Monday, 23rd January 2012
2. Upon receipt of your Expression of Interest Form, Clubs WA will immediately send you a Nomination Pack, detailing criteria that is specific to the award categories your club is nominating for. Clubs WA will also contact you to provide assistance with your nominations.
Deadline : Wednesday, 22nd February 2012
3. We visit your club to record your comment and additions to our evaluation.
