The prestigious gala event followed a ‘Celebration’ theme, with this year’s awards marking the 5th anniversary of the annual gala event, in addition to acknowledging West Australian clubs that are 100 years and older and of course, Mother's Day! Clubs WA also honoured its finalist volunteers with a special certificate and also celebrated Mr. Peter Seaman's 10th year the Executive Director of Clubs WA.

Hosted by media personality Karen Tighe with entertainment by All That Jazz Dance Studio and talented WAAPA student Saffron Sharp, the event was certainly the industry night of nights!

The Awards for Excellence were created to credit clubs in the region and also to generate both industry and community recognition of the efforts, accomplishments and contributions of clubs and industry individuals across the state. The awards are the leading way for clubs to earn recognition, endorse their brand and promote their club to the wider community.
