Clubs WA has today officially announced the finalists for this year’s Awards for Excellence evening to be held on Sunday, 19th April 2009.
The awards night is to celebrate the achievements of clubs throughout the state who have excelled in various areas including club management and community service.
The event, now in its third year, is a great opportunity for clubs to showcase what they have achieved through various categories and how they contribute to the local community.
Clubs WA Executive Director, Mr Peter Seaman said “This is an exciting time for the Club Movement. Clubs are the heart of every community, providing support and millions of dollars to local services and groups. It is great to be able to acknowledge our clubs through this important industry event.”
The greatest award a club can receive is the ‘Club of the Year’ award which is awarded to one small/medium and one large club that have excelled above all other clubs.
The winners of each category will be announced at the Awards for Excellence evening to be held at the Burswood Entertainment Complex Grand Ballroom on Sunday, 19th April 2009.
