Abridged version of Responsible Service of Alcohol Course will no longer be recognised as an approved course for the purpose of section 103A of the Liquor Control Act from Monday 2 May 2011.
The Director General from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor states ‘pursuant to section 103A of the Liquor Control Act, all servers of liquor on licensed premises will be required as a minimum to complete the nationally accredited unit of competency in the responsible service of alcohol’.
