It is important to all clubs to have control of their liquor stock at all times and to do this a monthly stocktake should be done. By counting stock monthly and including that figure in your Profit & Loss, the figures presented to your committee at monthly meetings will always give the clubs true financial position. By having control of your stock numbers with monthly stocktakes you should be able to keep your percentages consistent.
If the club gives free drinks for any reason these should be recorded through the till under some sort of an allowance button.
Stock count sheet template is now available in the Club Templates section (Members Only). The template will help smaller clubs to count their stock accurately. This sheet is fairly self explanatory and your sales figures for the month should be accessed from your till. On this sheet all stock is counted individually rather than by cartons, half cartons and quarter cartons. The stock items and prices are old but clubs can design their own sheets with current prices and stock items.
