Course Content

Review Introductory concepts

Designing action queries (make-table, delete, append and update queries)

Designing parameter queries

Setting relationships between tables and referential integrity

Creating multi-table queries and using joins

Designing customised screen forms and reports

Creating forms based on more than one table

Setting control properties and default values

Creating check boxes, option buttons, toggle buttons and option groups

Using list boxes and combo boxes

Using special design effects on forms and in reports

Working with sub forms and sub reports

Using sections and grouping for report analysis

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, participants will have an understanding of Multi-table database relationships, designing complex queries and design techniques for forms and reports.

Prior Knowledge

Completion of the Access Introduction course or equivalent kowledge is required.
