This short course provides participants with the competencies required to provide Responsible Service of Alcohol in accordance with principles of Harm Minimisation. The course is run every Tuesday at our premises in Willetton from 1pm-4:30pm. It is also available externally through CD ROM or online. Clubs WA is also available to conduct a course at your premises for a minimum group of 10.
There are two ways in which you can complete this course, you can take an assessment at the end and receive a qualification, or alternatively, you can complete the course without an assessment and receive a participation certificate. The qualification is nationally accredited and the participation is only recognised in the state of WA.
Pre-requisite:
Nil
Course content:
- Introduction to legislation relevant to service staff;
- Alcohol use and its effect on the human body;
- Responsible service of alcohol;
- Patron care responsibilities;
- Interpersonal skills required of liquor industry employees.
Certification:
On successful completion candidates will receive a statement of attainment for the unit of competence THHBFB09B - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol from the National Hospitality Training Package - THH02.

- $100.00 - Members of Clubs WA, Restaurant & Catering Industry Association of WA and the Liquor Stores Association of WA.
