Clubs WA Responsible Service of Alcohol – Club Industry Training

RGL Approved Industry Training

As per Racing, Gaming and Liquor’s Mandatory Training Policy (as amended 3rd August 2020), the course Clubs WA Responsible Service of Alcohol – Club Industry Training is the minimum training required for anyone who works or volunteers in a Western Australian premises under a Club Licence or an Occasional Licence (where required).

  • Responsible practices must be undertaken wherever alcohol is sold or served.
  • Contextualised for the Liquor Control Act 1988 (WA), this course applies to all personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in a Western Australian Club or Occasional licensed premises.

SITHFAB002 – Provide responsible service of alcohol

Nationally Accredited Training

This course is contextualised for Western Australia and references the Liquor Control Act 1988

  • Responsible practices must be undertaken wherever alcohol is sold or served, including where alcohol samples are served during on-site product tastings.
  • This unit applies to all levels of sales personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises, including security staff, and incorporates the knowledge requirements under WA liquor licensing law for personnel engaged in the sale or service of alcohol.

MLPLCA401A – Manage legislative requirements for the sale, supply and service of liquor

This course is contextualised for Western Australia and references the Liquor Control Act 1988

  • MLPLCA401A – Manage legislative responsibilities for the sale, supply and service of liquor is the mandatory training as specified by the State Licensing Authority, Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor for Unrestricted Approved Managers and Licensees.
  • Successful completion of this unit will demonstrate compliance with the mandatory knowledge requirements as specified by the Liquor Control Act 1988; and satisfy the training requirement for persons applying for a Liquor Licence or an Unrestricted Approved Manager ID card in WA.
