Hillarys Yacht Club, located in the northern suburbs of Perth, is one of the few clubs with direct access to the Indian Ocean. The Club features a marina with 272 pens across five jetties. As part of its core operations, the Hillarys Marina Lifting Service (HMLS) offers boat lifting and maintenance services for members and the local boating community. The Club is seeking a full-time Junior Boat Lifter to support daily operations within its boat lifting facility.
The Role

Assist with the operation of the boat lifter (Tammie Lift) and forklifts

Pressure clean various boats and yachts

Support other HMLS activities as needed

Deliver timely services to customers

Maintain positive relationships with contractors and members
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Hold a forklift licence (desirable; training provided)

Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Be punctual, reliable, and have your own transport

Provide high-quality customer service and understand customer needs

Work effectively as part of a team

Demonstrate strong safety and process compliance

Be physically fit for labour-intensive work

Be capable of working in all weather conditions

Have excellent communication skills

Be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check
