Change Management Forum

Clubs WA Industry Forum and Trade Expo
16th October, 2019
12:30pm – 1:30pm

Learn from some of our own Clubs that have gone through a dramatic transformation, whether it be changing the minds of a board panel or turning the club completely around from near closure. In this panel, you will have the chance to ask our panellists any questions you may have about change management.

Panellists

Mel Rainey
Projects Officer at Coogee Beach Surf Lifesaving Club

Coogee Beach Surf Lifesaving Club completely restructured their club three years ago, including removing some board positions and introducing a President Mentoring Program to avoid volunteer burnout. They now have separated their club into ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ sides of the business, and have over 60 committee roles throughout the club.

Their Board Members now meet quarterly instead of monthly. and they have created specific position descriptions to set clear expectations for each role.

Jacqueline Sanzone

General Manager at Energy West Social Club

Jacqueline started at Energy West Social Club early last year and has since dramatically increased the member base of the club, which aims to provide an affordable life/work balance.
