Training and Development Opportunities

At Clubs WA, we understand the importance of continuous learning and compliance in the hospitality and club sector. That’s why we operate Hospitality Alliance Training, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO 6226) dedicated to providing affordable, quality training tailored to the needs of clubs and associations across Western Australia. ​

Our Course Offerings:

1. Liquor Licensing Courses:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) – WA: This nationally recognised course equips participants with the skills to responsibly sell or serve alcohol, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

  • MLPLCA001 – Manage Legislative Requirements for the Sale, Supply, and Service of Liquor: Designed for Unrestricted Approved Managers and Licensees, this unit meets the mandatory training specified by the State Licensing Authority.

  • 52863WA – Course in Management of Licensed Premises: An accredited course covering essential aspects of managing a licensed venue in WA. ​

2. Food Safety Courses:

  • Food Handling (SITXFSA005 – Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety): Provides the skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices to prevent food contamination. ​

  • Food Safety Supervisor (SITSS00069 – Food Safety Supervision Skill Set): Equips individuals with the skills to oversee food safety in a supervisory role.

3. Industry-Specific Training:

  • Committee and Board Compliance: Tailored for board and committee members of WA licensed and community clubs, focusing on governance and compliance responsibilities. ​

  • Club Management in WA: Designed for club managers and staff, covering the essentials of effective club operations within the state. ​

  • Customer Service: A short course aimed at enhancing customer service skills within the hospitality context. ​

All courses are available online, allowing you to learn at your own pace and convenience. For groups or specific training needs, workshops can be arranged upon request. ​
