Margaret River Golf Club is a vibrant, member-focused club located in one of Western Australia’s most stunning regions. Run by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff, the club is committed to delivering exceptional service and fostering a strong sense of community. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to join their team in a dual Administration and Bar Support role.
The Role
This is a dynamic position combining front-of-house hospitality and administrative duties. Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting members and visitors, managing phone calls and enquiries
- Maintaining member databases, processing payments, and assisting with banking
- Coordinating merchandise orders and supporting website updates
- Leading communication through newsletters and social media
- Providing administrative support to golf operations and events
- Assisting with club functions and bar operations
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Demonstrate a passion for hospitality and attention to detail
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be available a minimum of 4 days per week, including weekends and occasional evenings
- Hold a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol)
- Have experience in administration or customer service, ideally in a member-based or sporting environment
- Possess high-level organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Have experience in membership services or merchandise coordination
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or administration (desirable)
