The City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club is located at City Beach in Perth, Western Australia. Our venue is unlike any other. Front row on City Beach overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. Our venue consists of three functions rooms able to be used individually or as a single space, flowing through to a courtyard with promenade and the Galley, our kitchen and bar.
Lifesaving is our primary role on City Beach and our club is also a social hub for our members and the broader community. We are looking for bar staff and approved managers to join our functions and event team.
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate the following:

- High level of personal presentation.
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to provide excellent standard of customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain co-operative relationships with team of staff, members , volunteers, and patrons of the venue.
- Immaculate personal presentation skills
Tasks and Duties
- Serving drinks to patrons.
- Cash / EFT handling and POS knowledge.
- Standard bar requirements (‘glassies’, cleaning, stock deliveries).
- Open, close and hand over procedures.
- Working alongside a team, and at times on your own.
- Function setups and resets.
- Reporting to Functions and Events Manager
Requirements
- Experience preferred.
- Valid WA RSA certificate.
- Valid Approved Managers Red Card.
- Flexible availability which includes rotating weekend day and late night weekends shifts.
