Geraldton Golf Club (GGC) is now searching for a self-motivated Club Manager.

Geraldton is located 450km’s north of Perth and sits on the Coral Coast. With a population of some 37,000 residents.

GGC is a vibrant, family focused Club that has found the balance of strategies and activities to fully cater for Club Members and the wider community, and is also recognised as an inclusive, respected and welcoming Club that are leaders in social golf, tournaments and also provides flexible programs for all those wishing to participate in the sport of golf.

The Club Manager shall be the key person responsible for the day to day running of the Club and for networking and building lasting, professional relationships with members and sponsors. As the face of the Club and first point of contact for visitors, sponsors and the broader community the Club Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Club’s operations including working with a broad client base and capable team of staff and have a willingness to work overtime as required.

This role would suit a Club Manager looking to make his or her mark in the industry.

Applicants will need to show:

  • Sound leadership, mentoring, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of marketing across all mediums
  • Sound financial management experience including but not limited to setting and achievement of KPI’s, achieving budget, cost control, revenue and profit generation
  • Commitment to customer service at all levels
  • Knowledge of the legal and compliance obligations of the Club
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity in performing their duties
  • Must have current certificates of compliance with WA Liquor Licensing requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with well-developed computer skills
  • Knowledge of golf administration and golf course operations is preferred.
