Located in Perth’s northern suburbs, Merriwa Estate is home to a vibrant retirement living community. RAAFA is currently seeking a full-time Estate Manager to lead the team and manage operations at the Merriwa Estate. The position includes a competitive salary with salary packaging, super, and either a vehicle or vehicle allowance.

The Role

  • Lead and manage the retirement living team to deliver high-quality services to residents

  • Maintain occupancy and oversee the upkeep of independent living units and facilities

  • Manage building maintenance, grounds, equipment and essential services

  • Provide staff guidance, training and ensure legislative compliance

  • Prepare lease documentation for new residents

  • Drive continuous improvement plans involving stakeholders

  • Conduct resident meetings in line with legislation

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have leadership and management experience, including financial and budgetary skills

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Understand Retirement Living and Occupational Safety legislation

  • Apply principles of quality assurance, continuous improvement, and customer service

  • Possess excellent conflict resolution and complaint management skills

  • Be willing to respond to emergencies after hours
