Dunsborough Lakes Golf Club Inc., located in the heart of the South West, is seeking an experienced Front of House Supervisor to join the team at Lakeside Café, Bar & Bistro. The venue operates in a friendly club environment, open to members and the public seven days a week. This full-time role reports directly to the General Manager and involves leading day-to-day front-of-house operations to ensure outstanding customer service and a smooth dining experience.

The Role

  • Coordinate daily operations of the front-of-house team, including baristas, servers, and bartenders

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and a welcoming atmosphere

  • Plan and schedule events, working closely with the Head Chef and Golf Operations Manager

  • Manage advertising and marketing activities, including social media

  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and stock rotation

  • Handle rostering, training, and performance management of front-of-house staff

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and food delivery

  • Ensure efficient table service and address customer concerns

  • Promote a positive, customer-focused team culture

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have 2–3+ years of experience in a front-of-house supervisory or management role

  • Hold a current RSA certificate

  • Demonstrate strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Exhibit excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Possess thorough knowledge of food and beverage operations

  • Have effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be familiar with point-of-sale and inventory systems such as Swiftpos

  • Show a passion for exceptional service and continuous improvement

Additional Info
