Gosnells Golf Club is one of Perth’s premier golfing destinations, featuring a meticulously maintained 18-hole course and a strong tradition of excellence. Located in Gosnells, the club offers a welcoming community and top-tier facilities for members and guests. The club is currently seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and improvement of the course.
The Role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive golf course maintenance program in conjunction with the General Manager
- Supervise and train the groundskeeping team, fostering a positive and efficient environment
- Manage irrigation, pest control, and soil nutrition to maintain healthy turf
- Collaborate on budget development and resource allocation
- Assist with planning and executing course improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards
- Oversee regular inspections and equipment maintenance
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or similar role
- Possess strong knowledge of agronomy, turf management, and irrigation systems
- Demonstrate effective leadership and team management skills
- Show excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Work collaboratively with club management and staff
- Communicate effectively across teams
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Turf Management, Agronomy, or a related field (preferred)
Additional Info
- Salary range: $105,000 – $140,000 per year
