Located near Geographe Bay, Busselton Golf Club is one of the premier courses in the South West of Western Australia. The club, established in 1907, serves over 870 members and is open seven days a week. With outstanding facilities including a fully stocked golf shop, clubhouse café, and bar, Busselton Golf Club offers a high-quality golfing experience. The club is currently seeking a motivated and organised Golf Operations Assistant to support the daily operations and enhance the experience for members and guests. This is a full-time role with a salary of $55,000 – $60,000 per year.

The Role

  • Assist with managing tee time reservations and flow of play

  • Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests

  • Support coordination of golf tournaments and events

  • Maintain presentation and stock levels of the golf shop

  • Assist with inventory of equipment and supplies

  • Operate and maintain the golf cart fleet

  • Support marketing efforts to promote the club

  • Help manage group bookings

  • Perform other duties as directed by the Golf Operations Manager

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in golf or hospitality

  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be proficient with computer applications

  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment

  • Present professionally and work well in a team

  • Show a willingness to learn

  • Be available on weekends, holidays, and for flexible shifts

  • Hold or be willing to obtain RSA and/or Approved Manager certification
