Royal Fremantle Golf Club (RFGC) is one of Western Australia’s premier sporting clubs, located just 25 minutes from Perth CBD and 5 minutes from Fremantle. With a championship course and over 120 years of history, the Club has hosted many prestigious golf events, including the WEBEX Players Series Perth.

RFGC is seeking an experienced and motivated Golf Operations Supervisor to join its busy Golf Shop team. With over 1300 members and competitions held six days a week, this is a dynamic, member-facing role reporting to the Golf Operations Manager.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a welcoming experience for members and guests

  • Monitoring pace of play and ensuring adherence to course rules

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the Golf Shop

  • Managing golf cart rentals and maintenance

  • Administering golf rules and Club by-laws

  • Leading Golf Shop staff and upholding service standards

  • Implementing operational procedures as directed

  • Processing sales and overseeing cash handling

  • Supervising golf operations equipment and facilities

  • Managing bookings and enforcing entitlements

  • Assisting with competition, tee management, marshalling, and event delivery

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have prior experience at a golf course

  • Be competent in using MiClub software for tee sheets and competition management

  • Understand golf etiquette and rules

  • Show strong attention to detail and a mindset for improvement

  • Possess effective communication skills

  • Be available for a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays

Highly regarded qualifications and experience:

  • Familiarity with NorthStar software

  • Previous supervisory experience
