Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club Inc. is a vibrant club located in Mandurah, delivering high-quality food services to its members and catering for a wide range of functions and events. The Club is seeking an experienced Chef to take on the role of Sous Chef in a hands-on capacity, working under the guidance of an award-winning Head Chef.

The Role

  • Assist the Head Chef in coordinating and supervising kitchen personnel
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes regularly, including for special functions
  • Provide kitchen leadership in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Monitor procedures to uphold presentation, hygiene, service, and product quality
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food standards
  • Guide team members to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests

Candidate Requirements

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to:
  • Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Have demonstrated experience in a similar hospitality environment
  • Possess strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Show a genuine passion for cooking and enhancing guest experiences

Additional Info

This is a casual position offering $30 – $35 per hour, with the opportunity to develop professionally and be part of a supportive management team.
