Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club Inc. is a vibrant club located in Mandurah, delivering high-quality food services to its members and catering for a wide range of functions and events. The Club is seeking an experienced Chef to take on the role of Sous Chef in a hands-on capacity, working under the guidance of an award-winning Head Chef.
The Role
- Assist the Head Chef in coordinating and supervising kitchen personnel
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes regularly, including for special functions
- Provide kitchen leadership in the absence of the Head Chef
- Monitor procedures to uphold presentation, hygiene, service, and product quality
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food standards
- Guide team members to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
Candidate Requirements
- To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Have demonstrated experience in a similar hospitality environment
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Show a genuine passion for cooking and enhancing guest experiences
Additional Info
This is a casual position offering $30 – $35 per hour, with the opportunity to develop professionally and be part of a supportive management team.
