Hillarys Yacht Club, located on the stunning Hillarys Harbour, is a fully licensed venue offering multiple food and beverage outlets and premium clubhouse facilities. The Club is currently seeking a Sales Executive to join the team and assist in acquiring and delivering exceptional functions and major events for members and guests, including weddings, conferences, sailing regattas, and community celebrations.
The Role

Acquire and retain hospitality clients for weddings, conferences, and events

Proactively source new business and build client relationships

Assist with event coordination in collaboration with the Functions, Food & Beverage, and Marketing teams

Tailor event experiences to meet member and client needs

Secure sponsorships and partnerships to support events

Manage meeting and event materials as required
-
Support delivery of Club events such as Opening Day, Discover Sailing Day, and fishing competitions
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have significant experience in managing and delivering high-profile events

Demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and initiative

Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised

Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Be flexible to work weekends as required

Have proven experience in sales

Be creative and able to implement diverse event offerings

Desirable: National Police Clearance and Working with Children Certificate
