The Cruising Yacht Club of WA, located on the scenic Rockingham Foreshore, is seeking a passionate Casual Chef to join its kitchen team. The Club features a members bar, front garden, and upstairs function space with views over Cockburn Sound. This role offers flexible casual hours and the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment.
The Role

Prepare and deliver high-quality food to customers

Maintain food quality and presentation standards

Monitor food safety and hygiene compliance

Assist in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen

Support the Head Chef in kitchen coordination and training

Ensure efficient service and effective time management

Adhere to WHS and HACCP standards
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a bistro, pub, or club setting

Hold relevant trade qualifications

Be available to work across a flexible roster including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Deliver consistently high food standards for both daily service and private functions
-
Demonstrate strong hygiene knowledge and practices

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Show pride in personal grooming and presentation
