Royal Perth Golf Club, the oldest golf club in metropolitan Western Australia and granted Royal Status in 1937, is internationally recognised for its premier facilities including an 18-hole golf course and multiple function rooms. The club is currently seeking a Short Order Cook to join its friendly and dedicated team on a full-time basis. This role ensures food quality and hygiene standards are consistently maintained at a high level.

The Role

  • Prepare high-quality meals consistently to set standards

  • Cook for breakfast and lunch services, as well as some function catering

  • Adhere to food safety, dietary, and allergy requirements

  • Implement processes for consistent a la carte and banquet service quality

  • Collaborate with management on food service operations

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold a Food Safety Certificate

  • Possess good time management skills and the ability to work independently or within a team

  • Be outgoing, friendly, and passionate about food and service

  • Have a Commercial Cookery Certificate (advantageous)

  • Have at least two years of experience in a licensed club, pub, or restaurant (advantageous)

Additional Info

  • Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 per year
