Cockburn Power Boats Club is a non-profit, member-based organisation located at Woodman Point in Coogee, Perth. With a strong focus on promoting safe and enjoyable recreational boating, the Club supports a community of around 1200 members. They are currently seeking two part-time Administrative Assistants to join their small team in a job-share arrangement. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a scenic coastal setting while supporting a community-oriented Club.
The Role
As the first point of contact for members and visitors, you will:

Manage front desk enquiries via phone, email, and in person

Support the Club Manager with daily operations and administrative tasks

Deliver high-quality customer service and manage membership administration
-
Coordinate storage allocations for boat pens and hardstands
-
Organise meetings, including the Committee Management meetings and AGM
-
Assist with Club events, bookings, and initiatives
-
Monitor compliance and help maintain documentation and policies
-
Maintain inventory and report maintenance issues

Provide support for accounts payable/receivable, petty cash, and EFTPOS

Perform general administrative duties as required
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar administrative role or relevant qualifications

Be experienced in using customer or member database systems

Demonstrate strong skills in Microsoft Office

Communicate confidently and deliver excellent customer service
-
Work well independently and in a small team environment
-
Be highly organised, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality

Be willing to work flexibly, including occasional coverage outside standard hours
Desirable:
-
Experience in event or financial administration is beneficial

Current national police clearance required

Must hold a valid C Class WA Driver’s Licence and have the right to work in Australia
