The Role

Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain compliance with OH&S and health standards

Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and place orders

Ensure correct storage and handling of food items

Minimise waste and control food costs

Lead and inspire kitchen staff to consistently deliver quality meals

Train new staff members

Maintain a clean, hygienic, and well-organised kitchen
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a chef in a busy restaurant

Hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Demonstrate strong cooking techniques and kitchen operations knowledge

Exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills

Work effectively under pressure and within a team
