Mount Lawley Golf Club, located just 10 minutes from Perth CBD in Inglewood, is one of Western Australia’s premier sporting clubs. It features a championship golf course and high-quality member and function facilities. The Club is seeking an experienced short order cook/kitchen hand to join their small but efficient kitchen team in a casual position with a seven-day roster.

The Role

  • Prepare and serve short-order meals, including fresh and toasted sandwiches

  • Undertake general food preparation and cleaning duties

  • Assist with receiving and rotating stock

  • Ensure a clean and well-maintained kitchen environment

  • Follow best practices in work health and safety

  • Work collaboratively or independently in a busy setting

  • Maintain a professional and organised approach

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have at least 2 years of relevant cooking experience

  • Hold a minimum qualification in commercial cookery

  • Demonstrate knowledge of various cooking methods and kitchen equipment

  • Show attention to detail and work efficiently

  • Understand industry best practices

  • Exhibit a positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Be flexible to work across a seven-day roster

  • Maintain a neat and organised work style
