Perth Football Club, based in Lathlain, is a historic WAFL club with over 125 years of tradition. The club is renowned for its strong community focus, regional and Indigenous engagement, and commitment to football excellence across men’s, women’s, and junior development programs. With a new multi-million-dollar facility on the horizon, the club is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead it into an exciting new era.

The Role

As CEO, you will work closely with the Board of Directors to drive strategic initiatives, revenue growth, and operational success. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Collaborating with the Board to develop and implement strategic plans

  • Managing financial performance, budgets, and revenue generation

  • Strengthening regional ties and community programs

  • Building relationships with corporate sponsors and government stakeholders

  • Championing the club’s culture, diversity, and performance

  • Leading the operational transition to a new state-of-the-art facility

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have proven experience in executive leadership or be ready to step into a CEO role

  • Demonstrate expertise in financial management and commercial operations

  • Possess strong strategic thinking and relationship-building skills

  • Be passionate about community engagement and high-performance environments

  • (WAFL or sports administration knowledge is an advantage but not essential)
