RAAFA WA is a proud provider of seniors living services across Western Australia, including retirement estates and residential aged care homes. Located in Merriwa, the RAAFA Club is a central, vibrant facility within the estate, featuring modern function rooms and casual dining. RAAFA WA is currently recruiting a full-time Chef 2IC to support the kitchen team and contribute to a welcoming and quality dining experience.

The Role

Work under a set roster with no late nights
Support the Head Chef in managing a commercial kitchen servicing the club and wider facility
Ensure quality food delivery and high kitchen standards
Lead food preparation and maintain safe service operations
Oversee stock control, ordering, and storage rotation
Provide supervision and training to kitchen staff and trainees
Adhere to Food Safety (HACCP) requirements

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role
Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Have completed a Food Safety Supervisor Skillset
Possess a valid C Class Driver’s Licence
Be eligible to work in Australia
Hold a National Police Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
Be up to date with COVID-19 and flu vaccinations
