Broome Golf Club is seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join its high-performing kitchen team. The Club’s Bar & Restaurant operates seven days a week for lunch and dinner, offering a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment. This full-time role provides the opportunity to support the Head Chef in leading the day-to-day kitchen operations.

The Role

  • Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, recipe development, and food cost management

  • Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure high standards in food preparation and presentation

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

  • Foster a positive and productive team culture

  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver smooth service and customer satisfaction

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Have 2–3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role

  • Possess strong culinary skills and a sound understanding of food preparation techniques

  • Be knowledgeable in food safety, kitchen operations, and cost control

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Be capable of leading, motivating, and developing a positive team

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Additional Info

Salary range is $73,000 – $80,000 per year.
