Broome Golf Club is seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join its high-performing kitchen team. The Club’s Bar & Restaurant operates seven days a week for lunch and dinner, offering a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment. This full-time role provides the opportunity to support the Head Chef in leading the day-to-day kitchen operations.
The Role

Assist the Head Chef with menu planning, recipe development, and food cost management

Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and ensure high standards in food preparation and presentation

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations

Foster a positive and productive team culture

Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver smooth service and customer satisfaction
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have 2–3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role

Possess strong culinary skills and a sound understanding of food preparation techniques

Be knowledgeable in food safety, kitchen operations, and cost control

Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills

Be capable of leading, motivating, and developing a positive team

Additional Info
Salary range is $73,000 – $80,000 per year.
